11 years ago today I was about 10 feet away from Claudio Sanchez as coheed and Cambria played a show to about 200 people at KITEC in Hong Kong.

The kitec might have clipped the shit vent pipe. Well and septic inspection is on Wednesday and we will get those folks to scope the lines to see if they can find it. We will also bring in a boiler tech on Wednesday to see what's up with that.

You were smart to walk but that doesn't ease the stress of your last few weeks. Insurers will not cover you for a new purchase with kitec (or if they do, it'll cost you HUGE in premiums).

The house I wanted had Kitec pipe lines for hot water baseboard furnace. My insurance company refused to insure. Made a deal with owner (motivated) to replace Kitec before purchase on my dollar and her time, using next door plumber who had originally installed it. Worked! Everone happy.

Not a condo person, but this isn't a condo nightmare. Should have paid the 10K, sold & bought a house he could control how to do the maintenance on
So, ownership voted to replace kitec pipes (smart of them) and this man fought for years over the original $10,000 charge until it snowballed to this.

Interestingly enough, Allstate is the only company that doesn't care if you have kitec. That said, oil heat and septic/well is super expensive through them. Our premiums would double and we wouldn't be able to shop around until the kitec was removed. Its going to remove itself soon tho.

I've seen coheed a bunch. Including when I saw them with only about 300 other people at Kitec in Hong Kong and claudio was playing 3ft away from me.

Those who submitted claims with the Kitec class action before the deadline; you might have gotten, or will get, a big check. I just did...8 years after submitting it. I am stunned, but feeling vindicated. Still a bit scarred by the ordeal of having shitty heating and plumbing throughout my house.
