Beshear's senior adviser Rocky Adkins has left the administration. He's rumored to have a big interest in running for governor, joining Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman as the two Democrats vying for the 2027 seat.

#NEW | Former 2x Kentucky State Auditor Mike Harmon says he is launching a campaign for Secretary of State in 2027.

Harmon was a previous Republican primary candidate for #kygov in 2023 and previously served as state representative from 2003-2016.
