水戸、偕楽園へ行ってきましたよ。

偕楽園の梅まつりは2/11からで、まだ期間前。その前なら人も少ないだろうし、ゆっくり見られるかなという目論見です。

それは合っていましたが、梅もまだ早咲きの品種がちらほら咲いている程度ですね💦

でもまあ、梅まつりのときは人が多いので、これもアリかなと思いました。
I went to Kairakuen Garden in Mito. The Plum Festival at Kairakuen Garden starts on February 11th, so it's still early in the season. I figured there wouldn't be many people there before then, so I'd be able to enjoy the view at my leisure. That turned out to be a good idea, but there were only a few early-blooming varieties still in bloom. 💦 But, since the festival is usually packed with people, I thought this might be not a bad idea.

こちらは３月の偕楽園ではなく、５月のひたち海浜公園。

サザコーヒーの出店がありました。
ネモフィラを見ながら頂くコーヒーもまた乙なものです☕️
This isn't Kairakuen in March, but Hitachi Seaside Park in May. Saza Coffee was there. Enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the nemophila flowers is also a lovely experience☕️

列車に乗る前にサザコーヒーへ立ち寄り。

「お待たせいたしました。季節限定の梅ブレンドでございます」
「・・・もしかして、梅の香りがするのかしら？」
「いいえ、梅は入っておりません」

バカなこと聞いちゃった💦

サザコーヒーは水戸のコーヒー屋さんですので、偕楽園の梅まつりの時期のコーヒーということですね。なので、松ブレンドとか竹ブレンドとかも多分ないと思います😅
Before boarding the train, I stopped by Saza Coffee. "Sorry to keep you waiting. This is our seasonal plum blend." "...Maybe it smells like plum?" "No, it doesn't have any plums in it." What a stupid question! 💦 Saza Coffee is a coffee shop in Mito, so this coffee is only available during the Kairakuen Plum Festival. So, I don't think they have a pine or bamboo blend either. 😅

偕楽園の中でジャローダ、ハーデリア、ナットレイの３匹が花見を楽しんでるポケふたです🌸

ジャローダは各世代で最初に博士にもらえる、いわゆる「御三家ポケモン」であることと、体の模様が高貴な家柄を彷彿とさせるのではないでしょうか。

ハーデリアは飼い主に忠実に戦うポケモンですが、この場合、水戸学のことを指すのではないでしょうか。幕末には尊王攘夷を唱え、歴史に大きな影響を与えました。

そしてナットレイですが、、、、納豆のダジャレ🥸❓❓❓

It’s the 100th birthday of the #Kairakuen temporary station at the garden — and wow is it necessary!

Huge numbers of people here, all for the late start of ume blossom season, one of the first harbingers of spring here in #Japan.

Such a good-natured crowd, though — no pushing or shoving, etc.
