AAAA I had a lot of fun working on the poster for this fic hehe

I have been shown the wondrous world of KanKiba by Salt (& Sprout!) through this fic so def give it a read!!
A Band post for the fictional band “Suna No Sankyodai”. The image on the poster is of a sand filled hallway in a dilapidated building, on the sand are the shadows of the three band members: Gaara (left), Temari (middle), and Kankurou (right). There is text on the walls that says the concert venue, the date for said concert, admission price, and when the doors open. On a distant wall there is text that reads “See You There”.

I only have a few chores today so that means it's KANKIBA TIME and maybe some KakaIru time if I can manage it.

I'm hitting each and every one of you with the KanKiba beam. That means you have to ship KanKiba. I'm sorry (I'm not), I don't make the rules (yes I do).

Today's attempt of remembering how to draw on paper! The #Kankiba truth that Kishimoto withheld from us. Also totally not based on @goodsaltwitch.cryptoanarchy.network fic.
A pencil sketch of Kankurou carrying a nearly passed out Kiba on his back. Kiba has one arm slung over Kan's shoulder and the other is holding Akamaru between his chest and Kan's back. Kankurku is looking back at him with concern and shouting "Hey! Kiba! Wake up!" while Kiba is staring into space and thinking about how warm Kankurou is

My KanKiba fic is almost to 1k hits which astounds me because it's such a small ship around two minor characters I didn't expect that many people to click it

Today's sketch: A band AU #Kankurou from @goodsaltwitch.cryptoanarchy.network after #Kiba had his way with him. I might be a little obsessed with #Kankiba in this AU. I will not apologize.
A pencil sketch of Kankurou sitting upright with his arms extended behind him. He's flushed with a soft smile, sweaty and his neck is decorated with hickeys and bite marks. The tattoo on his chest says "this is not a place if honor" seeing a radiation symbol. Dark hair leads down his stomach before his bent and slightly raised leg, is, covered by a bed sheet, obscures what is no doubt s delicious sight.

Welp, that's a wrap, time to pack it up folks. I have seen episode 125 (THE Kankiba episode) so everything else is irrelevant to me now

Also now that I'm head over heels for Kankiba, I am noticing a pattern. When I first get into a fandom or ship I want to draw, but after a while when I'm more familiar with the characters and their characterizations I lean more toward writing. All this to say, maybe more Kankiba art soon.
