A place in LA was Philly themed. Cheesesteaks and Tastykakes.
As a recent transplant I naturally bought all the Peanut Butter Kandykakes and apologized for clearing him out. He laughed and said they had more but only put out a certain number at a time because Philly people always clear the shelf.

When I lived in LA there was a place that shipped out Amoroso rolls and Tastykakes.
I bought a whole box of KandyKakes once and apologized for buying them all. Guy said they only keep so many displayed because some Philly person invariably walks in and buys everything on the counter once a week.

the other stuff in their lineup is solid but other companies also do those items. the Kandykakes and krimpets are more unique and are in my wheelhouse

well, tastykake chocolate cupcakes the icing is A++. plus jelly krimpets are awesome. oooh also kandykakes if you freeze them. I despise the k's though in principle.

got it from Stop and Shop (HQ in Boston lol, although they’re a sister company of Giant) bc it was on sale. the PB kandykakes and butterscotch krimpets are my favorite.

I found Peanut Butter Kandykakes in the tiny town of Honokaa, on the Big Island. No idea how they got there. The cashier did a double take when I bought them. Took them to a local friend's place. They assumed it was a joke. When I said they need to be in the freezer they were certain I was clowning.
