At last! Philip Pullman's conclusion to The Book of Dust, THE ROSE FIELD, is mine to devour! A moderately chonky fantasy novel, too. I can no longer sequester myself and binge read, but I have my late evenings sorted.

Pues aquí la tenemos. Un poco más sencilla de lo que esperaba, pero preciosa igualmente. Esos colores rojo-anaranjados y la enorme escala que tiene el escenario hacen sentir a uno como si estuviese viajando verdaderamente por el desierto de Karamakán.

El Capítulo 20 ha sido una completa locura. Me esperaba una pequeña aventura con Lyra antes de continuar el viaje a Karamakán, pero no sabía que iba a expandir tanto el tema de la alquimia, la “Comunidad Secreta” o, hasta incluso, los propios daimonions.

Ya lo dijo Pan en los capítulos anteriores, pero parece evidente que el tema central de este libro va a ser la Imaginación, lo sobrenatural y cómo Lyra va a tener que dejar atrás todas sus convicciones o razonamientos lógicos si en verdad quiere llegar a Karamakán o el Templo Rojo.
