The capacity of the Karenni folks for solidarity even as the world has shown them so little in return is one of the things that I draw a great deal of hope for the future from. Truly remarkable, and it deserves a much wider audience than the people who listen to our podcast

Due to the risk of aftershocks and the stench of rotting bodies, many people in Sagaing and mandalay are still sleeping in the street. Despite the cease fire announced by the NUG, junta airstrikes have continued to hit civilian targets in Karenni state and even in the mandalay area.

Karenni state has been the heart of the revolution for years, and contains some of the most progressive elements. We should do all we can to support them
