Si jamais il vous prenait l'envie saugrenue de rejouer à Dungeon Keeper, mais avec le support de contrôles, OS et résolutions (même 21:9 !) modernes, KeeperFX est enfin sorti en version 1.0. Ca n'aura pris que quinze ans, comme quoi il ne faut jamais perdre espoir. keeperfx.net

Will vouch for KeeperFX. I last played it when it was 0.5 but it was awesome then and I'm sure it's only gotten better.
Internet is out at my home due to the snow storm so I spent the morning playing Dungeon Keeper through KeeperFX since it’s this month’s game in DOS Game Club. Even though the combat is very clunky, I’m having a really good time with it.

KeeperFX has finally reached 1.0 version, which marks the completion of the entire original Dungeon Keeper code being rewritten plus a bunch of fixes, improvements and new units. Available on keeperfx.net

fortunately star control ii is freeware in the form of "ur quan masters" (they don't own the star control name anymore but the rest of the game is creator owned), and dungeon keeper has keeperfx which is an engine recreation with many QOL enhancements.

I've been playing Dungeon Keeper (with the excellent KeeperFX fan-mode) and it's truly good, no where near Dungeons which is a mess visually and game design wise

While it (sadly) doesn't yet have proper Native Linux support, it's still great to see more open source remakes like this and Dungeon Keeper is a true classic. KeeperFX has hit the big 1.0!

I still got the game installed with KeeperFX before GOG's Mods section. Works wonders aswell.
