Fantastic. Enjoyed it from beginning to end, would have been happy to have had twice as much. Extremely strong characterization of Michelle and Sam, delightful art and music, and a message that is even more important now than when it came out.

A Summer's End Hong Kong 1986 Recommended 7.8 hrs on record Fantastic story set in Hong Kong of the 1980s, captures the vibe and aesthetic in a unique and engrossing manner. The music in particular is fantastic, every track feels unique and perfect for the scene its used in. By the time it was over I wished I could continue the story of Michelle and Sam, and learn more about what they did as the handover date approached. Viewing this story from the point of view of 2025 is sobering, and a strong reflection of what is important to protect, and why it is so important to protect it, and to strive for more. Could not recommend more to anyone who is even slightly intrigued. A post-card style image of Michelle and Sam at the beach Creative Statement When all ahs been said and done, we hope Hong Kong will not be remembered ad a caricature of its past, but as a divrse and vibrant world city and that her vitality still lives on today and in the people fighting for the future that they believe in.
