I do wonder if there would ever be a new big publisher on the scale of Square Enix, EA, Ubisoft, or Capcom in the next decade or so. Feels like the last publisher to join those ranks is Koei Tecmo and that's over 15 years ago. Everything else has been smaller scale like Kelper Interactive/etc.
