On a walk at Sevenoaks Nature Reserve today, I saw this amazing stuff, looking like big yellow flowers stuck on the tree.

But of course it wasn’t, it is Laetiporus, a bracket fungus called sulphur shelf!

A bit other worldly or like from a cartoon!

A pair of young bison bulls in a UK sanctuary have been taught to self medicate, specifically by vaccinating themselves. The animals have been trained to lean into needles, which is less stressful than the typical procedure: shooting darts into them.
