Strong easterlies producing decent variety with 57 White-fronted Geese, Sooty Shearwater, Long-tailed Duck, Short-eared Owl in-off and four lovely Snow Buntings, one of which favoured under the cliff. Mostly all welcome #PWC2026 additions at King George Park #kentbirding @kentishplover.bsky.social

Dengemarsh Gully, Dungeness 03.11.26 - the best picture that I could manage in the cold north east wind, of the Isabelline Wheatear found in the gully by Paul Trodd.
An unexpected lifer, on a miserable day weather wise.

Never tire of finding these sprites, geographically it makes perfect sense, being the third Pallas’ Warbler I’ve found at King George Park in three years! Other standouts included a high count of 11 Firecrests ebird.org/checklist/S4... #kentbirding #PWC2026

It's been exactly 30 years since the last (and only) Kent Izzy Wheatear. I was too young to drive then & relied on lifts to see birds - so I've been eagerly awaiting the next one. Finally it happened & after much searching over a huge area it was relocated & showed distantly #kentbirding #ukbirding

A decent day with a few bits, mostly thrushes and finches, coming in throughout the day. The best being 3 Woodlark and a Lapland Bunting west while 2 Woodcock, a Siberian Chiffchaff, 9 Firecrest and 2 Hawfinch (briefly in Trapping Area before flying north) were also recorded. #kentbirding

2 highlights @sandwichbirdobs.bsky.social. Friday's Snow Bunting (1CY male, perhaps a little too confiding for it's own good) at the raised tee on Cinque Ports GC & today's vocal Siberian Chiffchaff; no hint of green on body & edges of flight feathers plus 'tobacco-stained' ear-coverts👍 #KentBirding
