He gives up the idea of Keptolo entirely. (During bg3 his relationship with Keptolo is Bad, and stops worshipping him when he runs, but he did have a faint piece of hope that maybe he could go back. But the longer he stayed the more he realized how wrong he was.)

in terms of d&d fertility deities we've covered, we can only think of one who would maybe resort to petty behavior like that and that's keptolo 😂
drow are petty in d&d lore and it also helps that he's part of the social group (men) who would most benefit from humanoid fertility b/c capitalism etc

Even though Elendar no longer serves Lolth and Keptolo, he still can't look at spiders, he swears it's bad luck for him. But its more he's afraid of Lolth In General.
I had been wanting Elendar to have worshipped a god (besides Lolth.) but the main drow Seldarine never really *worked* for Elendar and what I wanted with him. But then Red went and deep dived on drow gods and found Keptolo and literally everything clicked into place EXCEPT HE NOT REAL ON TORIL.
