#OpenBSD -current has introduced a new hw.blockcpu sysctl to offer more control over which CPU core types (Performance, Efficiency, and SMT) are available to schedule processes on. Modern Intel (and ARM) CPUs additionally have slower LP-E (low-power) core that severely hinder system performance.

Nice speed improvement by kettenis@, swap encryption (which on #OpenBSD has been the default now for decades) will now use CPU AES instructions, AES-NI on amd64 and the equivalent extensions on arm64.

Mark Kettenis' has added support for newer "MA" models of Intel AX Wi-Fi 6 devices to #OpenBSD's iwx(4) driver in -current.

OpenBSD's iwx(4) driver currently supports up to 11ac speeds, with seamless roaming between APs.

In §14.4 we see Cass laying out one of the rationales for puberty blockers as being either helping people to "pass" in later life.

Of course, it's hormone therapy that would do that. Puberty blockers are a compromise that allows for delayed initiation of hormone therapies, a later onset of puberty.
SCREENSHOT: Rationale for the use of puberty blockers for gender dysphoria 14.4 As set out in Chapter 2, the practice of pausing puberty at Tanner Stage 2 was initiated in the Netherlands, and subsequently adopted in the UK and internationally. The idea was based on a theory from Dr Peggy Cohen-Kettenis whose initial clinical experience was in adult care. Her rationale was that pausing puberty early would help young people to ‘pass’ better in adulthood and ‘extend the diagnostic period’ by buying time to think. The use of puberty blockers for this purpose was initially reported in a single case study (Cohen-Kettenis & van Goozen, 1998) and then in the original Dutch cohort (de Vries, 2011b)

OpenBSD has a new driver, intelpmc(4), for the Intel PMC (Power Management Controller) needed to enter even lower power idle states during suspend-to-idle (S0i), which #OpenBSD gained initial support for back in June.
