Me: "Fair."
Me to Kevin: “Don’t be that guy.”
Him: “I’m going to be that guy while pointing to you and saying ‘that’s my wife.’”
Me to Kevin: “Don’t be that guy.”
Him: “I’m going to be that guy while pointing to you and saying ‘that’s my wife.’”
K: "Only old people."
(looks at me)
"And goofy people."
Me: “Wasn’t it once a big deal to see the first Christmas TV ads on Thanksgiving Day during the parade? And the first winter holiday ads in the paper?”
Kevin: “That was a long, long time ago.”
Me: (sighs.)
Kevin: "By being unable to hit anything when he shoots."
Kevin: "How? Did they interview his couch?"
So romantic.
Kevin: “No, actually I think it might be a MANNIX episode.”
Me: “Ooh, there’s a pull through spot in the next aisle.”
[Heads that way.]
Kevin: “Go! Go! Go! Move! Move! Move!”
[I get the spot.]
Us: “We’re in!”
Kevin, well . . . (See text messages . . . )
(I must have complained to Kevin about writers who referred to characters eyes as orbs and others who referred frequently to characters as "the blonde" or "the brunette.")
(It's like he knows me.)
Kevin: “I love making phone calls!”
L: “Really? Could you make some calls for me?”
K: [pretends his hand is a phone & speaks into it] “Hello! I’m making this call for my wife, I love making calls, calls are fun when they are fake like this!”
Kevin: “Well, they cater to old people, so . . . “
Thanks so much, @KevinGAustin.
K: “Is this that one show? The popular one?”
L: “The most popular show in the world!”
K: “Among vidders?”
L: “And fanfic writers. Yes, that is the show.”
😂
Kevin: "You are definitely an old person."
Me: "These prices are highway robbery!"
Kevin: "Such an old person."
