The Resident Evil series needs more Kevin Ryman because his laid-back, arrogant, sarcastic and carefree attitude makes his delivery of some of the best one-liners in the series a reason why he's such a fan favourite from the Outbreak games.

From a storytelling perspective Resident Evil: Requiem would be deemed a failure if Jill Valentine and Kevin Ryman are not given major roles in Requiem's narrative because there are stories for both characters right there.

If Kevin Ryman isn't revealed as Grace Ashcroft's dad after a one-night stand with Alyssa Ashcroft it would be such a big missed opportunity. Kevin Ryman just makes so much sense as one of the major characters in Requiem's overall story.
