Peguei um filme do Khavn, maluco filipino que faz umas coisas pop/experimentais, só pra preencher a grade e o filme tem o John Lloyd Cruz, ator do Lav Diaz, e o próprio Lav Diaz no elenco! O filme mistura terror e decolonialismo numa releitura psicodélica do cinema mudo com mil filtros e efeitos.

Even if I thought it wasn’t as good as last year (and I missed the new Khavn De La Cruz 😔), I did enjoy this new edition of Lima Alterna. Next week is another event with even more movies that I can’t wait to see :)

i don't expect this app to take off anyways. at least it's worth a shot. i'll use this as my semi-professional commonplace. just compiling, annotating, reasoning despite / in spite of incomplete social information (datacollectmaxxing isn't always doable)

Le propos sur le rapport aux coutumes ne me touche pas bcp, mais je trouve passionnante l'irruption d'un accident qui oriente de force dans une direction nouvelle. Le film devient un making of de son incapacité d'aboutir (et valide un peu le propos que Khavn voulait faire passer).

#RuinedHeart is my first introduction to Khavn, and I will be seeking out more on the strength of this. Terrifically engrossing; Christopher Doyle's cinematography is typically incredible, yet Stereo Total & Khavn's musical work is the star of the show for me. #FilmCatchUp
