Dharali, with its mushrooming hotels, roadside eateries and scenic apple orchards, is a popular stopover for pilgrims travelling to Gangotri, the source of the Ganga, in Uttarakhand. One afternoon last month, a torrent of muddy water came crashing down the calm, slender Kheerganga river, swallowing everything on its banks. The devastating mudslide in that small town claimed at least two lives, with 67 reported missing.

उत्तरकाशी जिले के धराली में पांच अगस्त को खीरगंगा से करीब 14 लाख टन मलबा आया, जिसने कस्बे को भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया। यह मलबा एक दो नहीं बल्कि 16 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल में फैला हुआ है। इस मलबे को हटाने की भी चुनौती है। धराली आपदा के कारणों की पड़ताल के लिए शासन ने वाडिया संस्थान, सीबीआरआई रुड़की, आईआईटी रुड़की, जीएसआई के विशेषज्ञों की टीम बनाई थी, इसके अलावा अध्ययन के लिए भूतत्व एवं खनिकर्म विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक जीडी प्रसाद, सहायक भू वैज्ञानिक रवि नेगी, सहायक भू वैज्ञानिक प्रदीप कुमार भी पहुंचे थे।

खीरगंगा के उद्गम स्थल में हिमनद झील का मंगलवार को माउंटेन रेस्क्यू टीम (एमआरटी) ने आकलन किया है। टीम में एनडीआरएफ, एसडीआरएफ और निम संस्थान के अधिकारी शामिल थे। यह टीम संयुक्त निरीक्षण के बाद धराली लौट आई है। टीम अपनी रिपोर्ट तैयार कर शासन को भेजेगी। Trending Videos यह वीडियो/विज्ञापन हटाएं धराली रेस्क्यू के इंसीडेंट कमांडर आईजी एसडीआरएफ अरुण मोहन जोशी ने बताया कि ग्राउंड जीरो पर संयुक्त टीमें लगातार सर्च अभियान चला रही हैं। आधुनिक मशीनों और रडार के माध्यम से मलबे में दबे लोगों को तलाशने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इसी बीच मंगलवार को विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों के साथ एक बैठक की गई थी। इसमें आसपास के रास्तों को सुचारू करने और राहत कार्य में तेजी लाने के लिए कहा गया है। बीआरओ और स्थानीय विभागों के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर तत्काल मार्गों को दुरुस्त करने के लिए कहा गया है। Uttarkashi Disaster: 68 लोगों के लापता होने की पुष्टि, हर्षिल में झील भी बनी चुनौती, खोजबीन और बचाव कार्य जारी Source link

धराली के रहने वाले आकाश पंवार सिर्फ 32 साल के थे। 5 अगस्त को उन्होंने कुछ दोस्तों को घर बुला लिया। आकाश की मां कामेश्वरी देवी और घर के बाकी लोग पास में ही लगे हारदूधा मेले में गए थे। धरोली कस्बा पहाड़ की तलहटी पर बसा है। अचानक ऊपर से पानी के साथ मलबा बहकर आया। शोर सुनकर आकाश से स्कूटी स्टार्ट की। स्कूटी घुमा ही रहे थे कि मलबा उनके घर तक आ गया। आकाश के सिर पर पत्थर लगा और उनकी वहीं मौत हो गई।

‘सिर्फ 40 सेकेंड लगे, पूरा धराली बर्बाद हो गया। 100 से ज्यादा लोग पहाड़ से बहकर आए मलबे में दब गए। इनमें लोकल भी हैं और बाहर से आए मजदूर भी। चारधाम यात्रा की वजह से लोगों ने घर यात्रियों के लिए खोल दिए थे। कई घरों में कंस्ट्रक्शन चल रहा था। मेरे घर के उत्तराखंड के धराली कस्बे में आई तबाही की कहानी सुना रहे उमेश पाल पंवार खुद इसके गवाह भी हैं। 5 अगस्त, मंगलवार की दोपहर पहाड़ों का मलबा बहकर आया और पूरा धराली उसमें दब गया। 5 लोग मारे गए, 100 से ज्यादा लापता हैं। सेना के 9 जवान भी बह गए। 50 से ज्यादा घर, 30 से ज्यादा होटल-रिजॉर्ट और 25 होम स्टे तबाह हो गए।
