I finished Starbarian Tales! And I think it came out great :) arts beautiful, it’s a fun adventure, and Killgar is very silly. It’s fun being able to read it and hear his voice in your head for everything.

I actually thought up a concept 2 years back with a inspired game titled "Poker Night at the Portal", a Newgrounds themed poker night game featuring different indie characters that made their debut not just on Youtube, but on the NG platform as well. This concept is Sci-Fi themed.
Opponent 1: Killgar from "Starbarians" by Harry "HappyHarry" Partridge. Killgar finds out about the poker tournament through Hogstrong’s invite and decides to take his place instead without him knowing so he could keep the reward for himself, not knowing what poker is before signing an agreement that especially states “no killing during the tournament”. I imagine him telling stories of his brutal adventures, his battle victories, constantly insulting Hogstrong behind his back, and having moments where he almost lets out his murderous intent whether he loses to a much higher hand, but is constantly reminded of his agreement to not harm any of the players during the game. Killgar's chemistry with the other characters would vary, with Shrike both being galactic mercenaries except the difference is whether they have taken bounties respectively, trying to impress or flex (yet constantly fail) to Margo on his masculinity but constantly get shot down and teased, and sharing a small friendship with Geronimo, similar to Mac and the Heavy. Killgar would be a very aggressive player and likes to bluff on weak hands, frequently raising and going all in, especially even before the flop is revealed. Although he may not have a full grasp on poker, he would be quite inconsistent and will be very unpredictable. He might bluff, be cautious, or be aggressive. His Bounty reward would be a "Zaraddian Positronic Antimatter Ray", which has been brought up on two separate (non-canon) occasions. Opponent 2: Shrike Sanchez from "Monkey Wrench" by Joshua and Ashley Palmer. An impatient yet thrill-seeking mercenary who wants to pounce on large fat rewards whether he finds the chance, thus joining in and wagering on the poker tournament. Shrike would occasionally try to irritate the player and other opponents to play recklessly so he could have the upper hand, whether his or good or bad. He would be very paranoid of bluffing, and will often try to force other players to fold if he believes that they have bad hands. As other players get eliminated however, he becomes more aggressive (check-raising and begins to bluff) in trying to encourage folding and eventually knocking out the main player. He would sometimes continue pushing the opponents even if they decide to call the bets when they're not bluffing. Shrike would tell his past merc jobs, some history with Bulldog, his time with L.A.W. Navy and subtle hints on why he quit to find his own path. His chemistry especially with other opponents will vary with having similar reputation as Killgar being mercenaries, being friends with Margo based on similar interests (pizza), and Geronimo with a non-canon story of them being in the same universe and sharing both their experiences with working under L.A.W. There would be some fun moments with him codeswitching between English and Spanish during the game, announcing his moves and especially when he wins or loses a pot depending on the conditions. His bounty would be an unofficial trophy of some sort, I don't know a lot of details about that, but I heard it was something he had before. Opponent 3: Margo from "Hands Up" by Joel Guerra and Brian "Mizuwolf" Salvana. A lazy, narcissistic, rude space cop who decides to take a night off and into even more high stakes. Margo may play very recklessly, wagering high or going all-in at inopportune times attempting to get other players to fold. She would constantly tease the player and her opponents into believing her bluffs or taking in her betting/raising baits, and maybe some occasions flirt with the player depending on the circumstances (maybe something special when the player wins a showdown with her). She may either be cautious, aggressive or might bluff, and would fold frequently while waiting for a good hand - and if she has a good hand, she'd try to go all the way to the end with it. When she has a mediocre hand/pair of hole cards, she would be cautious with them. It would be an opportunity to expand the potential (maybe scrapped) and planned lore of Hands Up with Margo telling her job stories, how she and Ula met, why she became a galactic law enforcer, and give her some funny conversation exchanges and responses, and maybe some little fun references or facts about Joel’s other series “ENA” (maybe having some connections with ENA). I was thinking her to have a different attires besides her usual green or black goth outfits, maybe wearing a formal dress since she adores the attention from the other guys or even have her wear different outfit designs based on the other shorts or from Joel’s alternate clothing designs of her as unlockables. Her bounty would be a miniature doll replica of Ula that she claims gives her good luck when she rubs it on herself. Her chemistry with the other opponents has the most fun to come up with, teasing Killgars masculinity, bonding with Shrike over similar interests (PIZZA!), sharingpersonal law enforcing experiences with Geronimo, and dealing with Wink's advances. Opponent 4: Geronimo from Geronimo & Heatstepper by Ryan "Grillhou5e" Foley, Jack Foley, and John Desmond. A freelance space deputy jackalope finding an opportunity to pay rent and play high stakes, he decides to bring some of his savings and puts his luck on the poker tournament. Geronimo is a cautious player and tends to call or fold most hands. He plays it safe, folding whenever he has less than satisfactory hands. He would sometimes make aggressive raises with a big stack of chips, especially during the final showdown he will become very aggressive, consistently making bets and raising the stakes. This would make it hard to eliminate him, since whenever he stays for the hand, he tends to have good ones. Whenever he bluffs, he would most likely be confident enough with his hole cards to rebound from another player's bluff. I feel I don’t know Geronimo’s personality well, but I imagine he’s pretty trigger-happy and would occasionally show off his marksmanship to the others, especially with Shrike, exchange his crime stories with Margo, since they’re both law enforcers who also do nothing to shut down this tournament but play along, and befriending the large Killgar similar to Max and the Heavy's friendship. He might be the only character closest to play as the straight, rational man of the group. I’m thinking that he would come along with Heatstepper who would be there just to accompany with him, and would assist him in certain occasions, like Sam & Max in Poker Night 2. His bounty would be a pair of nunchuks based on the previous concept works of the series.

Killgar - The Marauder Pokemon - Water/Fighting

This pokemon is feared for its dangerous bite, and is the end of many a swimmer. It often sports deep scars from past battles and displays them proudly. The flesh under its iron-tough scales is soft and squishy, many nords love it for it's flavor.
