If you ever get the chance to play a pipe organ, do it.
It’s a blast.
This one is in Kilmun and is the only functioning water-powered pipe organ in the UK.
Lucky for me it’s on 20mins from my home 🙌🏻

12 Jan 1573: Archibald Campbell, 5th Earl of #Argyll, becomes the Chancellor of #Scotland under Protector Arran. He died soon after, & is buried at Kilmun #otd (David Kelly) Which looks a lovely resting place.

#MementoMoriMonday Some tombstones from Kilmun churchyard, Argyll. Was suggested in the Proceedings of the Scottish Society of Antiquaries in 1911 that it was highly probable that some graves were of ‘persons who could claim no right to use the devices represented’.

Maryhill Old Parish Church was built in 1826 on land gifted by Lillias Graham of the Garbraid Estate, daughter of Mary Hill herself. It was damaged by a German landmine in 1941 that killed 114 people on nearby Kilmun Street. After falling into disrepair it was demolished in 1985. 7/n

26th July, part 2, approx. 3 meter (10ft) plastic pipe found on Kilmun beach. My husband came out with me this evening so I had an extra pair of hands to roll/pull this off the beach. Council notified to collect 😆
