One of the funniest things about #MyLovelySamSoon was its attempt to convince us that #KimSunAh was overweight and unattractive.

I’ve been thinking about what Tina said. I know this conversation started about idol dramas from China. But restrictive beauty standards are not limited to China. I love kdramas & kfilms. I can’t think of ANY lead actor — man or woman — in a ROMANCE who is not conventionally beautiful.
But I'm asking myself if can't remember a "non-idol" drama with less high beauty standards? I really would appreciate an example in this regard...
