Amazon being, as we all know, deeply evil, it’s frustrating how good Kindles are. Just pulled out my 13-year-old one that hadn’t been touched in years, charged it, and it started right up and is working perfectly.

Amazon discontinued all of those old Kindles, and disabled Kindle for PC and replaced it with an app only available from the Microsoft Store, and within about five minutes folks had figured out the solution for “backing up” Kindle books from the new app. Eat shit, Amazon. ❤️

My partner’s current stack is more impressive than mine because I’m homeless. Kindles just don’t hit in the pics like physical copies.
