I think that's the thing that's driving me crazy. In what universe is Haley Stevens a kingmaker who gets to make demands? She's a little-known congress member who just tried to take a step up and lost. Most of her own constituents couldn't pick her out of a lineup.

AES had already announced his intention to be a kingmaker for 2028 and it made her so mad she ensured he'd be able to do it. god.

The thing about Obama‘s post-presidency is that he’s not the kingmaker, he’s the closer. He backed Biden in 2020 only after it was clear he would be the nominee after he won South Carolina, he went to Georgia in 2020 because the polls looked good there, he’s gone to Michigan now for the same reason.
