Visited Worthing in West Sussex today with information boards on the pier about the nearby Kingmere Marine Conservation Zone. An important inhabitant is the ‘Ross Coral’, which is not a coral but the bryozoan Pentapora foliacea.

Kingmere MCZ closed season begins from 1 April–30 June.
All fishing is prohibited in Zone 1. Rec angling 4 seabream bag limit applies in other zones.
Anglers are encouraged to follow the voluntary Code of Conduct.
