Car crushed by a massive tree that came down on Homer St at Kingsgrove and lifted up the whole footpath. Big enough to take down the power lines on the other side of the street as it fell. Power out to several streets.

Built in the 19c for the growing population of Charlton. It now serves Charlton and the new Kingsgrove estate.

Outstanding work getting that M4 Metro line to take a dead-straight line all the way from Westmead to Kingsgrove! There's a bit of a problem with the low contrast between the T3 and T5 lines when they run adjacent to each other: I'd make the T3 orange a tad yellower.

Plessey had a plant in Strathfield, now a park. IRH group made components at Kingsgrove and Phillips Elcoma had a plant at Hendon in SA making components. Lion's first job was with Weston electronics who made 2 way radios at East Roseville.

Now I’ve been forced out of retirement.
But all my gear had disintegrated.
Thankfully Kingsgrove Sports sorted me out.
Now all I need is the Dencorub.
