🇺🇬 Jacob Kiplimo just broke the 15K world record in 40:42 at the ZevenHeubenloop 7 Hills Race in Nijmegen. The previous record was 41:05 held by him & his compatriot Joshua Cheptegei.
Note: Kiplimo crossed the 15K mark in his 57:31 half marathon then-world record in 40:27 in November 2021.

Sabastian Sawe just set an utterly incredible world record in the London marathon. For the 1st time ever, the 2 hour race barrier was broken. Sawe's time was 1:59:30. Unbelievably, Yomif Kejelcha, finishing 2nd, also ran under 2 hours (1:59:41). Jacob Kiplimo (2:00:28) also bested the previous WR.
