Yeah it's like a kind of eldritch horror grown out of people who got so excited about kitbashing without bothering to learn all the fundamentals that good kitbash artists know that make them good

It is the centre of indie wargaming here: 28 Mag, Turnip28's Max Fitzgerald, Rogue Hobbies's Louise Sugden, Dana Howl, BillMakingStuff, Kamping Kitbash (feat in @wyrdscience.bsky.social issue 8), FRINGE, Bad Squiddo, Necropolis, TONKS, Meridian miniatures (and that's just who I can see now!)

I have entire tackle boxes of spares, that are separated and even labelled (unfortunately with masking tape, not a label maker). But I also kitbash tabletop miniatures, so sometimes it's nice to have random bits and bobs to bash together, or do a quick bosh job on something.

Yes, backgrounds are too time consuming for me so i like to use kitbash/blender to speed up the process. I mess with it, linework to blend it in with the scene.

You could probably find a way to kitbash something that is somewhat a middle ground between several factions, at least if you focused on the light infantry versions, as those seem to be less distinct than the armoured ones.

Trench Crusade Carcass Front kitbash continues!
The weathering is finished, using various citadel texture pastes and liquid Greenstuff, with PVA to make bits more crackly.
I've put the Anointed on the back burner for now, as I'm still working out how I want it to look.

Planning out a Speaker of the Dead kitbash. Not sure about how to add a Narthecium to it though. Maybe the jagged dagger that comes with the Wolf Priest can count?
