Photo of a tiger colored kitten approaching a black cat -Lucci. So proud? Pleased? Thankful? That they are figuring each other out in their speed & in positivity. My Lucci has been absolutely terrific with little Jasper, and Jasper is learning quickly!! Photo by La Belle Vie 💯 (c) ZWJH

After a yummy meal, 5 week old Jasper looks around on a warm spring day, hearing the birds and even the neighbors lawn mower, all from the safety of a soft, fluffy towel...Photo by La Belle Vie 💯 (c) ZWJH

Great news no breaks!

Vet said kittens at this age are pretty much all cartage. (Got x-rays just to be sure)

Did find out that ... [alt text ]

.... A kitten's stomach is about the same size as its head!! (That was new to me.)😺 I The biggest thing now is he needs to poop!! Vet didn't feel a firm abdomen & we think likely Jasper's body may have been almost completely void of food so it will take a little longer. 🤞 Photo of Jasper playing gently on the stairs trying to grab my finger which is just out of the picture. He is putting a little bit of weight on the left back leg now and started his 5-day anti-inflammatory meds. 🐾 ZWJH
