I feel a bit shy to share this, but I decided of Varka and I's yumeship name. ☺️ "Knightblume" (=knightflower). My name means to bloom anew / flower / light, and I would like for him to feel like he can always come to me and rest in a quiet field of flowers, while I can lean on him all the same.

I have created a MASTERPIECE (?) of fan #embroidery! Using this great PDF of a #KnightFlower screenshot I traced the pattern, and then attempted embroidering in the vein of the original painting... That is to say, like an enthusiastic amateur. (NOT doing things properly is weirdly hard??) BEHOLD:

Disfrutada y mucho #KnightFlower.
Es altamente entretenido ver a Honey Lee en una historia así. Me encanta cuando explota su dote para la comedia física.
Además también tiene su punto de intrigas palaciegas como todo sageuk que se precie.
Es que no se le puede pedir más.

I think probably our expectations going into this drama were very different - so I wasn’t expecting a sexy & bloody drama like #FatedHearts etc, but a more mild fusion sageuk along the lines of #100DaysMyPrince, #KnightFlower & #OurBloomingYouth

Whether it’s a drastic retelling of the Korean version of Robin Hood (ie, with a female #KnightFlower character instead of the traditional male character, PLUS a body-swap situation!),
or whether it simply uses a general idea - as you said “spirit” - of a Robin Hood type figure instead

I won’t start this #kdrama until there are some more episodes out, but the plot sounds cool:
there’s a Robin Hood style twist on the scenario of #KnightFlower, & additionally a #MoonRiver style body-swap between the leads 🙂

#ToMyBelovedThief delivered a solid pilot with an unexpected kiss between the leads. I really hope the writer leans into the romance and gives us plenty of flirting and skinship. Can’t wait for the next episode. #NamJihyun #MoonSangmin #ToMyBelovedThiefEp1

Some of the shows leaving Viki - eg, #MyDearest, #KnightFlower & #WeakHeroClass1 - are still available on Netflix (at least in my region, though I’m pretty sure they’re also available in the US)

#KnightFlower - a sageuk about a widow (who lives in seclusion due to the laws of the time & lives with the patriarchal family of her former husband)
who comes out at night dressed as a ninja to stop injustice & right wrongs

I've mostly watched Cdramas in 2024, but currently am watching two Kdramas - #ParoleOfficerLee and #FaceMe, both pretty good so far. POL is pretty funny, but has a serious message. Thinking of starting #BrewingLove. The ML was adorable in #KnightFlower!

i had high hopes bc i enjoy the leads a great deal - #LeeJongWon was sooooo good in #XX and #KnightFlower, and #KimSeJeong kicked ass on many levels in #TheUncannyCounter and #BusinessProposal - and this show might be a bit too cartoonish for me, but the core relationship is FIRE, i can already tell

I'm never sorry to be reminded of a #KDrama I enjoyed, though - my only niggle with #KnightFlower is that as a historical it would have been the PERFECT vehicle for showing off Lee Ha Nee's gayageum skills. 😢

I look forward to this - I really enjoyed #LeeJongWon in #KnightFlower but not so much in #BrewingLove. Bit too cheesy for me and felt the role didn't suit him. However, I like his work and this horror #Kdrama sounds intriguing .....
#LeeJongWon officially confirmed to join #KimHyeYoon in the horror thriller film #Salmokji, follows a filming crew who head to a reservoir to update road view footage, only to encounter a mysterious presence lurking in the dark, deep waters.
Filming will begin this May.
