Dunronald in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. Designed in an Arts and Crafts style, it was built around 1906 for the manager of Yarrow Shipbuilders following its move from London to Glasgow.

One of the distinctive corner bow windows of the Knightswood Community Centre. It was dsigned in a Modern Movement style in 1938 by Thomas Somers, who also designed the city's Kelvin Hall.

Saint Margaret's Church on Great Western Road in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. Designed by J.F. Matthew in a Gothic style, it was built in 1931, which I find surprisingly recent for this style of church.

Saint Ninian's Church in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. Built in a restrained Gothic style in the late 1950s, this was one of the final churches designed by Charles H. Purcell.

150 and 190 Kestrel Road in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. Built by Wimpy in the 1960s as part of the Lincoln Avenue develppment, each block contains 114 flats. They were scheduled for demolition in 2010, but ended up being refurbished instead.

My first walk since Monday due to 2 days of being hit with morning anxiety! and i was rewarded with this Dipper at Lock 28, F&C Canal, Knightswood. I see them quite often along the canal but never this far away from the River Kelvin.
