The interim report for the #KnowYourNeighbourhood Project has now been published by @dcmsgovuk.bsky.social.

The report finds a positive correlation between sustained volunteering opportunities and a reduction in chronic loneliness.

@worldbookdayuk.bsky.social came to care home residents in Middlesbrough on 6 March with the help of local schoolchildren. The Seniors Connected Project, which aims to tackle chronic loneliness, is part of our #ACEFunded #KnowYourNeighbourhood scheme.
