The leaves are almost all on the ground in Claybury Park Woods, but some are still reflecting #infrared light.

3/5 An infrared walk
It might be a bit of a cliche shot, but it have been rude not to snap this #pylon. My excuse is that I have never done this in infrared.

4/5 an infrared walk

I ought to include at least one shot that includes the river from a walk along the River Roding Way.

5/5 an #ir walk

Bostall Woods were the next stop on my walk from Abbey Wood to Welling. The #590nm #infrared makes them look very wintry.

A black and white photograph of a sparse winter woodland with bare, leafless trees standing in rows across a carpet of fallen leaves, their intricate branch patterns creating a delicate tracery against an overcast sky.

3/5 an #IR walk
Another shot from Lesnes Abbey Woods in SE London. I think this is on the the #GreenChain walk.

#infrared #photography #classicmono #scape
A winding dirt path cuts through a dense deciduous forest in winter or late autumn. Bare trees with intricate branch patterns create a natural canopy overhead, their dark trunks contrasting against the lighter sky. The forest floor is blanketed with fallen leaves, and the monochromatic composition emphasizes the skeletal beauty of the leafless trees and the serene, almost melancholic atmosphere of the woods in their dormant season.

1/5 an #IR walk
Just before Christmas I took my #fullspectrum SonyA7ii on a sunny winter walk from Abbey Wood to Welling. Here's a #konica24mmf28 #590nm shot from Lesnes Abbey Woods.

#infrared #photography #ClassicMono #blackadnwhite
Black and white photograph of gnarled, bare-branched trees in winter. The foreground features a large tree with dramatic, twisted limbs spreading across the frame, creating an intricate pattern against a gray sky. Fallen leaves cover the ground beneath, and additional leafless trees are visible in the wooded background.

2/5 an #IR walk
From a pre-Christmas walk with my #fullspectrum SonyA7ii from Abbey Wood to Welling. Here's a #konica24mmf28 #590nm false colour shot from the edge Lesnes Abbey Woods.

#infrared #photography
A solitary figure walks along a winding path through a peaceful park on a winter day, framed by two tall bare trees with goldenbranches reaching skyward. A stone archway or monument stands silhouetted on the hilltop against dramatic clouds, while a lone bench sits beneath the tree on the left.

4/5 an #ir walk

#lookingup through bare trees in winter sunshine in a false colour image that doesn't look that false.

#fullspectrum SonyA7ii #konica24mmf28 #590nm in Lesnes Abbey Woods.

#infrared #photography #naturephotography
A stunning upward view through the bare, intertwining branches of winter trees against a clear blue sky. The intricate network of dark branches creates a natural canopy pattern, with golden sunlight illuminating parts of the bark and casting a warm glow through the delicate twigs. The perspective emphasizes the trees' skeletal beauty and complex branching structure during the dormant season.

1/5 an #infrared walk

I took my #fullspectrum 720nm Sony A7ii on a walk from Enfield Lock to Waltham Abbey. This is Turkey Brook on a stretch of the #LondonLoop.

#Konica24mmf28 lens.

#photography #ir #blackandwhite #landscape
This is a striking black-and-white photograph of a serene pathway lined with trees. The path is paved with stone slabs and is bordered by a metal fence on the left side. A small stream runs parallel to the path on the right, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. The trees form a canopy overhead, creating a tunnel-like effect with their branches and blossoms. The image has a dreamy, almost ethereal quality due to the monochrome palette and the soft light filtering through the trees.

This beautiful iron bridge crosses the Grand Union #Canal on the stretch between #Brentford and #Hanwell. It's a #590nm #infrared image shot on my #fullspectrum
SonyA7ii with a #konica24mmf28 lens last winter.

#photography #blackandwhite #classicmono #landscape #landscapephotography
Black and white photograph of an ornate iron footbridge with decorative lattice work spanning a calm canal or river. The Victorian-era bridge features elegant curved arches and detailed metalwork railings. Bare winter trees line both banks, their branches creating intricate patterns against a dramatic cloudy sky. The bridge and surrounding landscape are perfectly reflected in the still water below, creating a mirror image. The scene has a peaceful, timeless quality typical of English countryside waterways

I'm posting some of my favourite snaps from 2025 until I take a Christmas/NY break. Here's an #infrared #ir shot from last January along the River Beam in E London.

#590nm #fullspectrum SonyA7ii #konica24mmf28 #classicmono #blackandwhite #photography #landscapephotography
Black and white photograph of a serene winter stream winding through bare trees. The stream flows over flat rocks in the foreground, bordered by dormant grasses and shrubs. Leafless deciduous trees with intricate branch patterns frame both sides of the scene, their dark silhouettes contrasting against an overcast sky. The monochromatic treatment emphasizes the stark beauty and skeletal structure of the winter landscape.
