As well as those high profile strikes, Ukraine's Gen Staff reveals 3 more bridges were hit overnight, to cause Russia more logistical problems.

They are 2 rail bridges over the rivers Aidar + Luhanchik in Luhansk and a road bridge over the Korsak in Zaporizhzhia.

❗️On the night of June 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Poltavska” oil depot in Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, three bridges (the road bridge over the Korsak in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and two railway bridges — over the Aidar and Luhanchyk in Luhansk Oblast),

Satellite photos confirm the attack against the M14 road bridge across the Korsak River on 25 June 2026. Large scorch marks are visible around the bridge.

Just to the south, the Russians appear to be setting up a temporary bridge in continuation of a dead-end road that branches off the M14 itself.

1,011 days ago, I suggested that Ukraine could try to hit the M14 road bridge across the Korsak River in order to cut off Russian military logistics. Now that prediction appears to have finally come true.

Kudos again to @blinzka.bsky.social for the geolocation.

But just one them is on Korsak river

Note that the Russians have already built a temporary crossing parallel to the now severely damaged Korsak River bridge.

And I wish to stress "temporary".

Update 28 June 2026: The Russians appear to have finished construction of their new temporary bridge across the Korsak River. This will allow them to keep using the M14 road from Mariupol to Crimea (albeit likely with load restrictions).

But let us see how long it lasts.

With Ukraine's enhanced ability to strike enemy logistics on the land bridge between southern Russia and Crimea, it is time to revisit the basic premise of my old Twitter thread from September 2023:

Destroying bridges in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast could worsen the supply situation in Crimea. 1/6

Update 1 July 2026: It appears that the Ukrainian military tried to attack, presumably yesterday, the temporary M14 road bridge across the Korsak River. A large circular scorch mark is now visible around 350 metres southwest of the bridge.

Better luck next time!

Not yet. As per new satellite imagery from today, the temporary bridge is still up and running. Anyway, I will continue to keep an eye on it.

Despite the diminutive size of the rivers, the small bridges across them still represent weak spots on the M14.

Back in 2023, I argued that costly and scarce weapons like GMLRS or Storm Shadows could be used to target them. But Ukraine's domestic weapons industry has come a long way since then. 4/6
