"国東半島 仏の里" （Kunisaki Peninsula, Land of Buddhas）, Oita prefecture.
The Kunisaki Peninsula is home to a unique and very old group of temples called Rokugo-manzan, a fusion of Buddhism and Shinto.
Length 64.5cm (25.3in). Circa 1970s or 1980s, #vintage .
1, Pennant of the Kunisaki Peninsula. The illustration is printed on a black cloth with two yellow strings attached to the left of the flag. 2, The illustration is of the statue of Daiitoku Myoo （one of the Buddhas, Makiodo Temple） and the Kunisaki Pagoda. 3, Enlargement of the illustration. The Daiitoku Myoo rides on a buffalo, and his characteristic six-faced, six-armed figure is depicted in realistic detail. The unique structure of the Kunisaki Pagoda is depicted in detail. 4, The title is in Japanese. "Kunisaki Peninsula" (red) in Kanji characters and subtitled "Land of Buddhas" (green). The caption is "Rokugo-Manzan" (blue), and under the title "Maki-odo Temple, Futago-ji Temple, Fuki-ji Temple, Kumano Magaibutsu" (Buddha image carved from a rock wall, white).

"国東半島 史跡めぐり" （Kunisaki Peninsula, a tour of historical sites）, Oita prefecture.
The Kunisaki Peninsula has many old temples that are a fusion of Shintoism and Buddhism.
Length 84cm (33.0in). This pennant was produced around the 1970s or 1980s. #vintage .
1, Pennant of the Kunisaki Peninsula. It has a photo printed on paper and decorated with yellow fringe. The pennant comes in its original clear vinyl bag with a paper tag. The tag is titled "COLOR PENANT" (black, red, misspelled; the "N" in PENNANT is omitted). 2, The photos are a number of historical sites in Kunisaki Peninsula and a pictorial map. They include Fukiji Temple, Kumano Magaibutsu, Kunisaki Pagoda, the former residence of Baien MIURA, and the statue of Nio statue at Futagoji Temple. 3, Enlarged map of the Kunisaki Peninsula. The circular peninsula is depicted from Usa Hachiman Shrine in the north to Oita Airport and Beppu in the south. 4, The title is in Japanese, "Kunisaki Peninsula: Tour of Historic Sites" (red) in Kanji. The subtitle is "Land of Buddha" (blue). On the right side of the flag, there is a photo of Usa Hachimangu Shrine and a column for the date of commemoration.
