#Kunstansichten in #Offenbach was quite the trip! Didn't see all I had planned but other stuff I didn't. This here is @hfgoffenbach.bsky.social's really nice gallery at #ZollamtStudios + some works I liked by the way they were presented alone. #portrait #painting #graffiti #photography #artsky
A gallery corridor looked at from outside, in front of double doors, the left closed, the right open. On top of the frame it reads one letter per cube: GALERIE, framed again with black lines. Through the window of the left door with a sticker on it reading 'hfg OF_MAIN' four square paitnings lining a wall, bordered by graffiti on the door. Inside, a support column on a tiled floor, with portrait paintings on the far wall to its right. Farther down the corridor an open door, leading into a pink room, with another portrait up on the wall. A black and white egg cutout portrait photo of an Asian person, bordered in white with a black frame, their eyes fixed on the viewer, their head and chin turned left and tilted down to their naked and hunched left shoulder while a few locks of hair from the back of their head are fanning out and up. Frame is placed on a pink column painted on a white wall. On a grey column on a white wall a portrait of a person's blurred face looking slightly up and to the right. Black and white on a background of red paint, its black frame turned by 90 degrees to the right, as though it caused the blurry effect while leaving the image upright, its contours on the image white lines contrasting the red, leaving the red outside untouched around the frame's recent position. White room with overhead lights. At the far wall a table with a pink book on it, to its left a chair and to its right a slender vase with white flowers. Three images on the left wall: a collage of cut out paper reading in caps TRAUMCOLLAGE LAN LE above shapes and graffiti, a profil photo in black and white of a young person with a stubble and their eyes painted or sprayed over in red, an egg cutout photo of a person wearing what seems to be some kind of jewelry on their head, or an effect made by the artist. On the right wall two photos of persons, one with their face cut out, the other with its head split in two, both cut outs re-positioned out of place with the empty part painted blue.

Yeah, I read that. Can't remember any stickers or self-congrats at Kunstansichten in Offenbach, just interested visitors asking student artists questions about their work process et cetera. But I understand your point. Isn't it like that in any scene, like the music biz?
