caregivers of folks who have serious cognitive decline (dementia, Alzheimers etc.) may request a Project Lifesaver Bracelet which emits a radio signal every few seconds. The signal can be tracked if the person wanders away . information about the program is at ad.lacounty.gov/lafound/
