I grew up in Sacramento c. 1951. Both my parents were from Los Angeles. My brother was born there. My dad’s family moved there from Saskatchewan when he was 9 in 1912. My mom’s family moved to LA from Bowie, Texas when she was 9 in 1919. They were amazed at all the orange groves.
