My LGBTQ child today marched with me in Montgomery, Alabama in opposition to anti-LBGBTQ legislation. This child was eligible to vote in November but couldn’t be persuaded to do so. After today, that change. After today, my child knows there are other people who care. That’s beautiful to me.
