Just met @josephfinn.bsky.social but something’s… coming to me… 🔮

From this, I deduce that there’s no ‘kind of #film’ JFinn won’t watch, and he’s loathe to entirely give up on a #movie (evidenced by the slender long left tail) (+alttext)

I’ve got a gift 🔮

You guys should all follow @aaronmshain.bsky.social , and if you’re on #letterboxd Like my pinned bleet and I’ll do your #LBReading 🤓

#Letterbox’d #FilmSky #MovieSky

Tbh I might just do some anyway, if solicitations don’t pick up 😈

I had to go find you manually, but the cats & I follow you there now.

… do you want your #LBReading? 🔮

I’d argue so far I’m batting 1.000, plus nobody is unhappy to have been included, which is WILDLY successful per my #socialmedia standards/precedents 😅

Would anybody else like a follow on #letterbox’d & a #letterboxd #palmreading or #LBReading? 🔮

#FilmSky #MovieSky #Top4 #TopFour #LastFour #Last4

Well, @aaronmshain.bsky.social didn’t explicitly ask, but also, nobody has yet, and he seems cool (local to the #PNW! Love that!)

I wouldn’t call this a #LBReading 🔮 so much, since it’s ALL #goodmovies, but I bet I know why — check the #alttext for ✋ reading 🧙‍♀️

#FilmSky #Letterbox’d

As far as I’m concerned, if you Like the pinned bleet, you opt in:

New #BlueSky & #letterboxd friend @ladymegadanger.bsky.social has a BANGER in the #Top4, #Amadeus (often on ours, as well).

Check the #alttext for your #LBReading 🔮 prob the most woo-woo I’ve gotten yet 😅

#FilmSky

This is astonishing, & largely a function of a small-data-set, but EVEN SO… wow 🤩

It’s the diff-looking #letterboxd ratings-distribution graphs that interest me, & check THIS out:

boxd.it/bZQDB

How does he do it?? Perhaps he’ll tell us 🤓

#FilmSky #alttext #MovieSky #letterbox’d #LBReading 🔮

@andyzswart.bsky.social liked one of these, so I’m doing him now 🔮 #LBReading

Hit the alt-text for complete analysis/palm-reading, but we think it’s so cool he stays watching #goodmovies. He has standards, grades stuff .5-1.5 stars, but he doesn’t live there, w/ bad ones

#letterboxd

The bump in L-tail end of @damagedqueen.satan.social ‘s ratings distribution suggests to me that, at a certain point of many bad #films, she just goes “fuck it. This is so bad, it’s a half-star,” & stops trying to parse exactly how bad it is 🤓

Relatable! 🤗

#letterboxd #LBReading 🔮

#FilmSky & #letterboxd friend @thescenesnobs.bsky.social has a VERY distinctive ratings distribution chart.

What do YOU see? 🤔

Knowing Mick a little as I do, I half-believe he has constructed a deliberate middle finger distribution 😆

Intentional or not, it’s def there 🖕😤

#LBreading 🔮

#FilmSky and #letterboxd friend @stormaciousd.bsky.social watches as many #movies as anyone we know, and she’s tough to impress, whether positively or negatively.

If she gives something .5-1.0 or 4.5-5.0 stars, it MEANS something 🤩

#Film #moviesky #LBreading 🔮

… I evidently think most #movies are bad. 60-65% of my ratings are 1-2 stars.

I obv want to impress everyone with how little I think of the #badmovies I watch. Yet I watch them! 🤓

Contrarian, smug, argumentative (I happen to also know these things about myself, too)

Ask for your own #LBReading 🔮
