LCARSS
LCARSS is a fan-made LCARS console for browsing Memory Alpha, the Star Trek wiki — people, species, science, technology and culture, live from Memory Alpha.

I also appreciate the different graphic designs these cards come it. There's a LCARS style, of course; Klingon cards come in both English and the original Klingon variants; plus the TOS format is just really tastefully done.

(Artist credits in alt, BTW. Always)

I'm using @maegodhavemercy.com's LCARS 'app' for Bluesky. I don't think I can go back.

I’m gonna anger a lot of starfleet technicians with this one and I’ll likely never get my promotion but I’ve always considered LCARS to be an awfully inefficient interface that makes poor use of screen estate and frankly I’m surprised we’re still letting Apple design our UIs in the 24th century.

Definitely not saying his interface is any better, but I think LCARS is what drove him to this.

come January it will be time for Dems to get down to the business of making simple improvements to the lives of working professionals (legally mandated LCARS theme for Slack)

Once upon a time I riced WinXP to be LCARS based and I hated it from the moment I finished it and the hyperfocus wore off.

Also what the fuck is up with the PADD with its teeny weeny little screen and nonsensical controls? Why isn’t it just a big touchscreen like other LCARS interfaces?

LCARS keyboards and key caps available now! 🖖 #startrek #cherrytreeinc #lcars #pc #trekkie

Hah, here's my phone wallpaper image (made by LCARSLad over on pre-2020 Twitter, I think). Game recognize game.

I might actually be able to share a version of the LCARS bluesky reader I've been working on in the next few days. I've gotten it to be a static HTML site that just stores the app password on your device, which means ideally I could host it and anyone who goes there would see their own feeds.

I noticed that YouTube changed the font for video titles relatively recently and that's why I'm learning about Uncial script now.

I noted that the YouTube titles reminded me of LCARS, inspecting the page source revealed that it's Roboto, but compressed and with increased weight. I misremembered...

Starfleet: LCARS.
Tom Paris: No.

Thank you! I liked what they did with LCARS frame treatments but wanted to make something unique enough but it evoked the same concepts.

I like my new watch face,
remind you of anything?

I kinda love my LCARS Star Trek inspired desktop. It’s not “accurate” but it’s useful, as I put a bunch of keyboard shortcuts in the blocks for quick reference. Love it.
