The question is whether a reporter had yet found or told the background story. Whose roots trace *at least* to Nov 5 2024, but was triggered by events of Aug 15. Moving six heads of govt, plus NATO and EU ldrs, across ocean, all at same time, isn't easy. (Never happened before) Worth knowing how.

Wouldn‘t surprise me if there are growing and active efforts by pol ldrs to exploit such divisions in the ranks to break down nonpartisanship & lay groundwork for norms of partisan alignment to take hold

Also I'm not attacking the reporter as I don't know anything about him, and I imagine he was told to write this (I've worked with LDRs at Reach) but - this is quite a weird article for a BBC-funded service to put out
