2024 saw the addition of LEDs. I shared this video earlier but I’ll put it here again for the sake of continuity. We also added a glowing arrow this year to make the button more obvious.

With modern LEDs and full cutoff lights we could have substantially better and safer street lighting for really minimal operational cost and no impact to wildlife.
