Visiting #LEGOLANDWindsor on the first day of October #HalfTerm with my daughters aged 4 & 6 yo. It is hell. Not only 80mins wait for an attraction at peak times but lots of ongoing works at the parking site - it took forever

Saw a great example of this already in place last week at #LEGOLANDWindsor when we took the kids for a day out. Over the winter they have added exactly these type of solar roofs over part of the car park. On a hot day it made an incredible difference when getting back into the car.

By all means offer refunds for those who no longer wish to come, but forcing it on everybody is causing disappointment in children and inflicting costs on parents — for no reason.

Because when you see one ‘child × 1’ item, who thinks there's probably another, identical, one underneath it?
They grouped the adult tickets, so why would the kids' be separate?

LEGOLAND Windsor re-issued the original Park Map for its 30th Birthday
LEGOLAND Windsor turned 30 Years Old in 2026 and to celebrate their 30th Birthday, they re-issued the original Park Map from opening day way back in 1996 for the week of the anniversary. So of course I made the trip across to grab one for myself and check out some of the other 30th Anniversary offerings like Birthday Cake Guy, the giant birthday cake in The Beginning, Confetti Popcorn and the Birthday Milkshake. And of course, I also went racing on Minifigure Speedway, the fantastic duelling roller coaster.

I saw LEGO Santa in LEGOLAND Windsor at Christmas!
My Christmas London Tourism adventures continue with my next trip to LEGOLAND Windsor, to check out the LEGOLAND at Christmas season! With some attractions closed for the low season, LEGOLAND Windsor celebrates Christmas with special entertainment offerings like Elf Training Academy, the Nutcracker's Band playing live Christmas music, the chance to meet LEGO Santa and the evening Festival of Flurries Show featuring the friendly LEGO Snowman. I also checked out the Pizza & Pasta Buffet Restaurant - including their Christmas Pizza offering - and attractions like Autumn's Riding Adventure and the (Ice) Dragon Roller Coaster! Plus, armed with my brand new Camera, I took another look around Mainland to check out its special Christmas decorations and scene changes.
