This was almost @dannybate.bsky.social bait, at first I was using Czech and Irish 😄. But then I decided Croatian and Irish was a better representation of *h₃lemH-
Persian لنگ <lang> is from *(s)leg-: "tired, weak", related to "slack" and "languid"
But "lame" is from *h₃lemH-: "broken, weak, soft", related to Croatian "lomiti": "to break" and Irish "leamh": "soft, weak" (and possibly "loom", which might originally have been "thing that breaks"
