Today I was once again visiting the #LifeBoat4Sturgeon at the Danube in Vienna 😍 Sterlet (A. ruthenus) reproduction is in full swing. Waxdick (A. gueldenstaedtii) will follow this week. The @boku-ihg.bsky.social team there is doing extraordinary work to safe these animals from extinction.
