That's a really interesting question. A few months ago, I'd have said yes (LINDDUN, Solove, etc). But now, having written the "who are we" paper, I wonder if the privacy threat models are overly influenced by who's doing the work, and their definitions of success..

Ran WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, and Messenger through LINDDUN — the privacy framework cited in ISO 27550. All four fail Identifiability. Telegram's default chats aren't even E2EE.
