AJDGFBUU ok so infortunately when lis1 came out i remember i was still ""straight"" (i was 11) so i ""shipped"" max and warren bc it was the straight option. its ok. now i know better 😔🙏

For me I’d say it was Undertale that helped pull me out of depression.

For me I’d say it was Undertale that helped pull me out of depression.

And yeah, sure, maybe other games that came before LiS1 managed to get away with more, but almost all of those games were either never on the same mass market appeal and scope, had buried it way deeper, or simply presented their queer characters in ways for cishet men to laugh at or fetishize.

Dotnod fought tooth and nail for LiS1. Every publisher until Square rejected them, and they didn't even advertise the queer content! They couldn't at the time! It's why LiS1 is available here, but every game since Tell Me Why, which more explicitly advertised their queer subject matter, are banned.

I adore the first LiS and it was super nostalgic to play this as a result. I really wanted more from the final chapter though, like I wanted to see more between this and LiS1, but it was still enjoyable.

very underrated—LiS1 will forever be my GOAT but LiS2 is a work of art in its own right. I've only played through it once because it's just sooo heavy but it continues to be incredibly relevant.
