Great to welcome Andrew, Rosie and Laura from Sport England to LJMU today to explore their Areas of Research Interest (ARIs). A key message: connect early to co-create research questions that address inequalities and help more people benefit from sport and physical activity. #AreasofResearchInterest

Feeling stressed?

Research shows that people who drink less than 1.5 litres of water a day have a stress hormone response more than 50% higher than those who stay hydrated.

Why Drinking Enough Water Could Protect You from Stress-Related Illness
A new study from LJMU suggests that drinking too little water could make people more vulnerable to stress-related health problems.

Where is ‘the pattern of lies’? And why is one professor alleged to have done this but not others, such as Matthew Goodwin or Nathan Cofnas? LJMU cleared him of plagiarism & just because he resigned doesn’t mean he was guilty. The pressure on him & his family was intolerable.

Cambridge / LJMU appear (with cohorts) to be hiding behind the moral outrage of Arday's demise to prevent criticism of their systems and permitting plagiarism as long as it isn't malevolent or whatever.

And people like you get sucked into that cover up world

Arday IS the victim here

LJMU 'excused' his failings and non-malicious or similar

Peter Jukes called it 'sloppy work' - LJMU cited poor supervision

Cambridge now cite many other instances of failure to cite and mirroring in other areas.

IT'S THE SYSTEM DEFENDING ITSELF USING ARDAY AS A MORAL SHIELD

BT are keeping the subject alive writing SM tomes on the subject & ignoring Peter Jukes excusing Arday's system as simple MIMICRY.

Mimicry is copying, copying without citing is the OED definition of plagiarism which he needed to do to produce valid papers.

LJMU knew and excused it

Get off my back! I'm replying to BT. It's not about Arday, he's a symptom of a system.

Academia is plagued by plagiarism etc & the issue is Cambridge / LJMU + their re-definition.

Viva's & crits should have picked up on it. He openly wrote about his system of rota con (a known process).

Been very quiet on here, so time for an update

I’m an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow and PhD student at LJMU, researching unpaid carers, inequality, digital poverty and access to health and social care

A lot has changed, but the research is moving and I’ve got plenty I want to start talking about
