Today as I come to the end of my two-year term as President of the LSIDCM, I do so with a deep sense of gratitude and pride. These past two years have been a period of steady growth, renewed energy, and meaningful progress for our society.

It was a pleasure meeting Dr Rakan Nasreddine the minister of public health of Lebanon on behalf of the LSIDCM. We discussed the alarming antimicrobial resistance in the country and the importance of collaborating with the ministry to address AMR as a One Health approach.
