LTNs: what the latest evidence tells us: that people living in LTNs reduced the distance they drove by around 6% more than those living outside them. Quieter streets make local journeys feel safer and more appealing on foot or by bike.

Bring on the Headington LTNs!
I find the transfer between the safety of the East Oxford LTNs and Headington completely wild. SImilar streets, but Headington feels like the wild west. Drivers don't wait for cyclists, they force their way through EVEN WHEN I'M RIDING WITH KIDS. Bring on more LTNs.

The Cowley LTNs were implemented in April 2021, after sporadic coronavirus lockdowns between March 2020 and March 2021.

I've not read the article but this seems a bit unhinged. Also, LTNs are a council policy. I don't think Khan has any influence over them.

I will never get over how funny it is when people act as if LTNs are this gigantic boogeyman rather than just some well-placed bollards to get them to take a different route.
Personally, I’d rather have healthy kids than mollycoddled millionaires
